Yes, that should be possible to do, we've had customers in the past using the W25Q128JV as QSPI flash devices with nRF52840 designs in the past. As for what you mean by "adding the edge impulse libraries" you need to explain more what you mean by. You shouldn't need an external flash to run the Edge Impulse samples.

Okay, I think that should be fine, but since we haven't tested this project internally we can't guarantee that it works as intended. So you'll be "on your own" in getting this example up and running I'm afraid. I'm happy to help if you have any nRF specific questions, but for the Edge impulse specific questions/issues I think you need to refer to the edge impulse forum.
