Power profiler is too slow

Extremely slow scrolling speed.
Sometimes taking up to 20s to show current voltages. Unusable.
Already downgraded down to version 2.6 of nrfConnect and it still the same.
I looked at all the other cases and tried all the suggestions.
I am using a nrf52832 DK with the piggy backed PPK1.

Can anyone help?
Are we waiting for a update with a fix?

  • Same problem here. I tested my PPK1 on my new Win10 machine and the lag is tremendous. In "Data Logger" mode with only 10 samples/second it takes 38 seconds to get the "10 second" view filled up with data. Sometimes I also receive "Corrupt data detected, please check connection to PPK.". I tried several USB ports and different USB cables.

  • Hi

We released version 3.5.0 of the power profiler desktop application last week, where I was told a fix for this issue was attempted implemented. Can you upload the logging information with Verbose logging turned on for me, so I can get a better look of what's going on? You can also try to do a "nrfjprog --recover" command on the PPK and then let the Power Profiler application flash the PPK application onto it.

    Best regards,
    Simon
