NRF5340 AUDIO FOTA FAILED

1.I am testing the NRF5340 Audio and fully following the

Most functions is ok.

However, there is a problem with FOTA. I don't have external flash, so I want to test the internal flash OTA. I just want to upgrade the APP.

3.First I execute this command:

python buildprog. py -c app -b debug -d headset --pristine -m internal -M -p

Burn the headset program to the development board.

4.Then:

python buildprog. py -c app -b debug -d headset --pristine -m internal -M

5.In

\nrf5340_ audio\build\dev_ headset\build_debug\zephyr ,i got

app_ Update.bin and dfu_ Application. zip and other files,

6.I can enter the OTA mode, When I used nRF Connect Device Manage for testing FOTA upgrades.It reply: Error, Value 3

Can you tell me where my problem is?

I don't think I will make a video but I am trying to get this to work on my end, it seems it is not as straight-forward as I had hoped.

Which nRF Connect SDK version are you using, and how do you enter OTA mode?

I see. I have reproduced the same on my end. When using internal layout DFU (no external flash) there are some additional steps that are needed to assign the image slot. I have not got this working yet but will get back to you with the details.

Hi,

This issue (along with some others) were fixed by this PR that has just been merged into main and will be part of nRF Connect SDK 2.2.0 which is in the process of being released. It did not make it into RC1 though, so I recommend that you either wait for RC2 (or the final release) or use main in the meantime.
