Code flashing and debugging with iar embedded work bench code size limited version

HI,

Iam trying to build and debug nrf51422_xxAC with ble_app_uart sample from sdk for peripheral. using the following method to do this. the soft device s130 can be flashed with nrf connect app. application can be flashed and tried to debug with iar. but the device is not advertising. i checked with nrf connect app mobile.

Are you using a custom board or a DK? Does your custom board have an external LF crystal?

1) It's only in the IAR debug session you see this issue?

2) Do you see any issues if you use the nRF for Desktop programmer app to flash one of the pre-compiled(.hex) examples?

Hi,

The pre-compiled hex comes with the SoftDevice included. So no reason to add the Softdevice as well in this case.
