In wireshark I'm not able to see the interface of Nrf52840DK

I recently purchased NRF52840DK version 3.0.0 and I was trying to setup the BLE Sniffer. But in wireshark I'm not able to see the interface

Hello,

It's bit strange and I couldn't find any reason other than improper installation. Are you getting any error message while opening the Wireshark?  I suggest you to erase the board and try to install sniffer from the scratch. Please follow all the steps mentioned in here correctly. Please share a screenshot of the nRF programmer App after flashing the sniffer hex file and a screenshot of the Wireshark interface, if the issue still persist.

I'm in the same boat. My nrf52840 dongle isn't being recognised as an interface on Wireshark 4.0.4 running on Mac OS 11.7.2

• The "nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE" toolbar is loaded and visible in Wireshark but is empty.
• I can run the ./nrf_sniffer_ble.sh --extcap-interfaces command from within the Wireshark extcap folder.

Based on the number of other similar posts, this seems to be a common probem. Assistance will be appreciated.

have you tried sniffer on latest 3.0.0 version 52840Devkit?

No. I have no interntion of doing so. I simply want my dongle to funtion within Wireshark as intended.
