Recommended miniature 32Mhz crystal part number for nRF5340 CLAA

Hi,

I have been following the reference layout designs for the nrf5340 CLAA variant that Nordic publishes (the 4x4mm chip). In particular the "nRF5340-CLAA Reference Layout - Config 3" layout. I am having trouble finding a 32Mhz crystal that matches the footprint on the layout: "XTAL_2016". In fact, the nrf5340 DK uses the exact same footprint and the BOM states that the MP06003 part number is used. The nrf5340 Audio Dk uses a CX2016DB32000D0WZRC1, also in a XTAL_2016. However, these parts are about 30% larger than what is shown in the CLAA reference layout.

What part was used for the config 3 reference layout linked below.

The crystal size is 2016 on all designs. 2.0 x 1.6 mm:

My apologies, I should have included measurements like you did. In the layout above, the pads are smaller (1.4mm width) and get covered up by the component. This was not the footprint from the spec sheet of the crystals used in the nrf5340 Dk and nrf5340 Audio Dk so that is why I was wondering if Nordic used something else for the design above. Seems like it may just be a compact version of the 2016 footprint though.

Here is the footprint of the audio dk crystal. As you can see it measures 2mm (width) x 2.4mm
