The installation of the nRF Connect for Desktop v4.1.0 is broken due to the network issue.

My company uses the self-signed certificates and uses a proxy with authentication.

It seems that these items trig an network issue during the installation process of the nRF Connect for Desktop v4.1.0

And when I upgrade the nRF Connect for Desktop software from 4.0.1 to 4.1.0 the installation process completes successfully but the Power profiler app doesn't recognize my PPK2 board...

Same issue with two different PPK2 boards.
May be due to the new network strategy of the nRF Connect for Desktop. Is it mandatory to have a network connection to use an app?

Everything worked on my collegue's PC with nRF Connect for Desktop v4.1.1 before that a PPK2 FW upgrade asked by nRF Connect dor Desktop v4.1.1.

Could you try the following steps and see if it works?

• Reboot your PC (to make sure all processes own by jilnk are not started)
• Uninstall all JLink drivers
• Reinstall nRF Connect for Desktop 4.1.1 and make sure jlink installer is triggered and install correctly

In case that doesn't work, please try these too:

• close nRF Connect for Desktop (all instances)
• open task manager, go to processes or details tab, find all jlinkarm_nrf_worker.exe running and stop processes
• uninstall nRF Connect for Desktop
• install latest build from https://www.nordicsemi.com/Products/Development-tools/nRF-Connect-for-Desktop/Download#infotabs

The issue was due to a J-Link driver problem.
