This should not be a sudden my PCA10040.
Jlink are probably going to have failed.
It does not appear in the USB Jlink to appear as Atmel.
Is there a way to recover Jlink?

Have you tried to flash the Atmel chip on your PCA10040? It slo appears that your running windows on a virtual machine? Is this correct? If so do you see this behaviour on a native windows machine as well, i.e. does it not show up as a JLink CDC UART Port?
While it connected to a computer using the ditch PCA10040 This should not normally connected.
Previously, it was operating normally. It was steady work in a virtual machine.
The two have PCA10040. One should work. In the same computer
The Bossa Program Port force did not work to convert jlink.
I guess. jlink installed on the Atmel chip has been removed or problems seem to have occurred.
So, Is it possible to re-install the jlink Atmel chip?
Yes, if you hold down the Reset button on the PCA10040 while powering it on it should start in bootloader mode. The device should then show up as a BOOTLOADER drive and you can drag and drop the JLink firmware, found here, onto the drive. This is provided that the bootloader firwmare has not been deleted as well.
Hi Bjorn, I have the same problem, it's PCA10028 but hold down the Reset button while powering, it didn't start in bootloader. Still show Atmel modem Bossa Program port. Any idea?
If you have erased the bootloader on the JLink OB chip (i.e. the ATSAM3) then you have reflash it with an programmer that is compatible with Atmel Chips. I can send you the firmware if you provide me with an email address in a Private Message here on Devzone.
