NRF Connect displays only a white screen after some time.
I can connect to my nrf51DK with the ble or the PPK app, but after some seconds (changes between 1-20) only a white screen is displayed.
If I start the DevTools (ctrl+shift+I) it says "DevTools was disconnected from the page".
I can do a reload (ctrl+r) and everything looks ok, but can't connect to the board. I have to unplug it and connect it again.
What could be the reason for this behaviour? nrfconnect 2.3.0 did not have this issue.
A fix release of nRF Connect for Desktop is available! It includes a fix for the PPK White Screen issue.
We are not aware of anything, I will report it internally. Let me know if you have any new findings.
Just for you to know. I tried to use the PPK on a windows 10 PC and had the white screen error also on windows now once.
Update: The team will start look into this over the next 2 weeks.

They have identified the issue, however there is no new release planned at the moment, so this might take a while. I guess it will depend on the impact for you whether a fix-release is necessary sooner rather than later.
I rely quite heavily on the tools in nRF Connect, so a "sooner rather than later" fix would be appreciated. Can you share what the issue is? Is there anything I can do to mitigate it?
I don't mind building from source, but I can't see that any patch has been made to the nRF Connect or PPK repositories.
From my understanding it's an issue in the "core", so fix and testing require more work. There is some good news though, a fix will be prioritized, so hopefully within a very few weeks there will be a release ready.
