Error 133 (0x85): GATT ERROR on nRF52840

Hi,

I am running ble_app_blinky example on nRF5280 custom board, it is giving me Error 133 (0x85): GATT ERROR. Since I have nrf52DK, I tried same example with SD 132 on nrf52832 it works as expected.

I went through devzone and there are many questions with similar issues but  couldn't find a solution.

Could you please let me know what could be reason for the same?

Glad you were able to figure it out Ali!

As for your request Andrew, most modules mention in their data sheets what clocks are included and not. But I'll suggest internally to make this more clear from our side.

Indeed - but you know what people are like for reading datasheets ...

But I think the more important point is that people do not understand the significance of what the datasheet tells them.

I think that's where a blog might help...

And the module vendors could be more helpful in their documentation.

And the Nordic documentation doesn't seem too clear in answering the question,

"What do I need to do for an application with no external 32KHz crystal?"

For instance, in this thread, it took two posts to get the answer:

First, just NRFX_CLOCK_ENABLED was mentioned;

Then it was clarified that this is in sdk_config.h;

Then, a few posts later, NRFX_CLOCK_CONFIG_LF_SRC was added

It seems that Rigado do have a blog post on the subject:

And that includes a whole load of stuff that was not mentioned in this post!

So it would be good if Nordic could have a post like that which pulls all those settings together into a single place, with a detailed explanation.

Again, a common problem with the Nordic documentation is the individual settings are described in isolation - but there is nothing which pulls things together with an overall view.

We agree with unclarified answers about no external LF clock source. nordicsemi Please share detailed documentation about this subject.
