[Asset Tracker] GPS unable to work with NB-IoT

Question

Dear Nordic Support, 
 I am doing some test on the Thingy:91 v1.0.0 in Vietnam. I am running 2 examples: Asset Tracker with NB-IoT + GPS and GPS . 
 When I use the stanalone GPS example , I can get the fixed GPS. However, when I run the Asset Tracker I cannot get the fixed GPS. When I hold the button of the board to turn to GPS mode, it also cannot get the fixed GPS. 
 I am using the master branch, module firmware v1.1.0 and nrf9160_pca20035ns . 
 I attached to log results with this post, could you help analyzing the root cause and giving me some hints to fix it? I really appreciate that.

Hi Duy, Let's take a look at two examples on how to set and read the eDRX values from one network that support it and for one that does not. 
 [Network supports the eDRX feature]: 
 So the first example we request the eDRX value "1000" from a network that supports this feature: 
 
 [Network does not support eDRX feature]: 
 The second example is on another network, but the same eDRX interval request:

From what I can see from your log, it looks like your network does not support this feature as of now. 
 Please get in contact with them for more details.

Hi Duy, 
 Please get in contact with Viettel Telecom with regards to if they support PSM mode or eDRX intervals for NB-IoT. 
 In the asset_tracker sample, you are running the Modem on the NB-IoT network, where it tries to go into PSM mode to be able to turn on the GPS. If the network does not support PSM mode, then you won' be able to run it from default.
