Gateway android application reconnecting unsuccessful

Hi, 

I'm using nrf gateway application in android and it is not able to connect to nrf cloud. I have reinstalled it but still the it say 'Gateway connecting...'. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Have you double checked that the phone has an internet connection?

Are you able to sign in to your cloud account on nrfcloud.com?

Many thanks for your reply. Yes I have doubled checked 4g and wifi for internet both are working perfectly fine. Also I didn't find any issue in nrfcloud.com. Gateway app is reconnecting again and again so I'm not able to scan or connect and BLE node with it.

Do I need to buy certain cloud service?

What kind of BLE devices are you trying to connect to?

What kind of Android device are you using?

Do you happen to have some other Android device available to test with, in order to see if it is an issue with the phone?

No. You don't need to pay anything to use the phone as a gateway to BLE devices, this should work out of the box.

Many thanks for your reply. I am able to resolve the issue by deleting & recreating nrfcloud login. My Android device is working fine now as previously. A solution I won't prefer but worked for the problem.
