Hi
I assume you're looking for offline versions of the nRF Connect apps, correct? Please check out this post on how to download specific apps. From there you can move these onto your offline computer however you like.
Please note that some applications need an internet connection, such as downloading NCS version from the Toolchain Manager for example.
Best regards,
Simon
Hi Simnor. Thank you for the reply, but I don't understand your explanation. I looked at the json file and modified a copy so it would reference a local version of 1 app hosted on our internal github enterprise server that I cloned from your github repository. But the json file also references a "url" in addition to a "homepage". Regardless, when I try to use my json file, I get an error "JSON does not contain expected _source tag'. See the attached screenshots and the json files.
I dont see a way that I can upload my screenshots and files into this case. Below is the content of my modified json file.
{
"pc-nrfconnect-ble": {
"displayName": "Bluetooth Low Energy",
"description": "General tool for development and testing with Bluetooth Low Energy",
"homepage": "">github.wsd.l-3com.com/.../pc-nrfconnect-ble",
"url": "">vc-5/.../pc-nrfconnect-ble"
}
}
Also, I read your "this post" link and it references ~/.nrfconnect-apps/local. We are using nRF Connect for Desktop on a Windows computer. Would ~ on Linux be the same as $HOME on Windows?
I tried copying an app to $HOME\.nrfconnect-apps\local on my Windows computer. It does not show up in the APPS.
