nRF connect v3.5.0 application is not running and show a white screen

Hello,

After some weeks of inactivity and moving my desk to an other address, the nRF connect application is not running and show a white screen for all applications  except for Toolchain Manager ?

What's the problem ?

  • Hello Simon, how are you ?

During the weekend I have de-install all and reinstall all, but the result is the same "White screen" ?

I have about 300 units of nRF52832 to flash but I cannot !!

Is it possible to have support for resolving that ?

    Best regards, Jiemde

So you say that the solution is to use the "Getting Started Assistant" ?

No, you should not use the "Getting Started Assistant" since it's deprecated. Use instead the Toolchain Manager (recommended) or install it manually.

I would really like to get to the bottom of this. In this ticket, it seems like the customer was able to resolve this by downgrading to JLink 6.54c, could you try the same?

Regarding flashing the units. This can be achieved by installing the nRF Command Line Tools and using the nrfjprog executable (nrfjprog --program <name>.hex --sectorerase). You will find the hex file in <application>/build/zephyr/merged.hex (if multiple/child images) or <application>/build/zephyr/zephyr.hex (if single image)
