Hello Simon, how are you ?
During the weekend I have de-install all and reinstall all, but the result is the same "White screen" ?
I have about 300 units of nRF52832 to flash but I cannot !!
Is it possible to have support for resolving that ?
Best regards, Jiemde

No, you should not use the "Getting Started Assistant" since it's deprecated. Use instead the Toolchain Manager (recommended) or install it manually.

I would really like to get to the bottom of this. In this ticket, it seems like the customer was able to resolve this by downgrading to JLink 6.54c, could you try the same?
Regarding flashing the units. This can be achieved by installing the nRF Command Line Tools and using the nrfjprog executable (nrfjprog --program <name>.hex --sectorerase). You will find the hex file in <application>/build/zephyr/merged.hex (if multiple/child images) or <application>/build/zephyr/zephyr.hex (if single image)

Hi Simon,
I have downgrading to JLink 6.54c but nothing change !
Is it also possible to downgrade the nRF Connect 3.6.0 to 3.2.0 ?
I don't understand why I had using the nRF Connect software at the beginning of september without problem and now, after moving the pc, it refuse to work ?
Hope you have a solution.
best regards, Jiemde
I will talk to some of the developers of the nRF Connect for Desktop app tomorrow and ask what may be the reason for the white screen.
Best regards,
Simon
I talked to one of the developers and got a suggestion: "try to uninstall nrfconnect for desktop, jlink drivers and install the latest 3.6.0 again"
Best regards,
Simon
Hi Simon,
I have for the second time uninstall nrfconnect 3.6 for desktop, jlink drivers and install again this version but I obtain the same result a white screen !
I have also try to uninstall the 3.6.0 version, Jlink drivers and install the nrfconnect 3.2.0 version ( the one I had before moving the PC and It's always white screen.
In the mean time I've install nrfconnect 3.6 for desktop and the jlink driver on an other PC and it work, so for now I can work.
But I already need to work from my own pc, so what can be the problem?
Best regards
Jiemde
I'll forward your feedback to the developer, and get back to you when if I get any insight on the problem.

I got some more insight into this. I will try to convey what the developer told me.
The whitescreen is most likely related to jlink, since Toolchain Manager does not have that problem which doesn't use device selector menu.
To downgrade jlink requires change in the registry, and it does not seem like you did that, but when you upgrade it, this is not necessary. What version of jlink are you using? The newest one? Make sure you install the newest one, or the one that comes with the nRF Connect for Desktop app.
To use an older version of nRF Connect for Desktop is not that easy, since you will get the last version of all the apps, which are not compatible.
Some other causes to this may be:
Also could you provide me the "system report" from nRF Connect for Desktop?
Best regards,
Simon
